Immigrant workers leave struggling Spain

Spain’s on-going economic crisis has resulted in high levels of unemployment, especially among retail and restaurant workers.

One result is that many immigrant workers have returned, or are planning to return, to their home countries.

Costa Brava Beaches

The Costa Brava has a plethora of beaches. They come in all sizes ranging from kilometers-long, tourist-filled stretches of sand to hard-to-reach, virtually ‘private’ beaches nestled in small coves.

Cadaqués

The beautiful fishing village of Cadaques is sometimes referred to as an island on the coast. That is because it is relatively protected from mass tourism by a long, winding road through the mountains of Cap de Creus.
